Giants vs. Panthers

Don't know if I'll be able to get the whole week in before the kickoff, so I decided to throw up this game's prediction just to make sure I got it in in time. So, here goes an anaylsis of tonight's game.

Giants vs. Panthers.

New York is coming into this game with some injuries, Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw won't be playing which will affect the Giants offense. That's an issue, but this game is going to one factor and that is if those dominant 4 pass rushers of the Giants will be able to control and contain Cam Newton.  The big pass rushers are going to have to get to Newton and hit him often if the Giants have a chance in this one. If they let Newton run, then the Giants are in trouble. No matter what they have to keep Cam in the pocket, if they let him run on them, then it will open up the Panther offense and Newton will make plays down the field to Steve Smith. Eli Manning coming off a 500 plus yard performance is going to have to utilize the passing game to move the Giants offense. Victor Cruz is going to have to play a huge role without Nicks in the lineup. Rookie Rueben Randle and Ramses Barden are going to have to find a way to step up and make some plays for the Giants offense. Also, look for tight end Martellius Bennett to have a large game tonight. The Panthers are going to have run the ball against a tough Giants defense to keep pressure off Cam. With Jonathon Stewart still banged up, DeAngelo Williams is going to have to find a way to tire out the Giants defense. This will be a tough game, because of the injuries to the Giants, but I look for the Giants to pull this one out in the end 24-21.

Will have the rest of the week up by Saturday night. Enjoy the game tonight.
